Angi Hastings is a native of Wicomico County, Maryland, and is grateful to be a woman in long term recovery. Angi celebrates August 23, 2014, as an important turning point in her life. She has recovered from myriad diagnoses, including OCD, anorexia/bulimia, self harm, complex PTSD, substance use, and suicidality.  She is a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist in the state of Maryland and works full time in a public health setting. Her passion is accumulating tools, knowledge, and practices to help herself and others love themselves, know their worth, realize their potential, and live more authentically and comfortably in their own skin. She lives in Salisbury with her husband Ted and cat Salem. She enjoys crafting, reading, boating, and writing. She feels most aligned with her purpose when using her lived experience to offer support and insight to others, as well as distilling her observations into language.
